Would you consider moving your business to Henderson or Summerlin?

Maybe, but why?

Henderson: I grew up on the edge of Sunset/Sunset where Henderson & Green Valley begin. I love the area. I’m in Summerlin now and my family is all up here. It’s super inconvenient for me to start a business in Henderson at this point, so that is not really an option.

Summerlin: I love it up here, where I live currently. My humble little house with doggie door and writers shed in the back.

But I love the neighborhood feel I have DTLV. I don’t really have that on my street in Summerlin. I see friends at the gym in Summerlin and at the parks and I like that. I have a Trader Joes super close. I have the best of both worlds living in Summerlin and working Downtown. It takes me 15mins to get to work door to door from Summerlin to DTLV.

I love Downtown, I've planted seeds there.

I know my baristas

I run into friends and business owners.

I have business meetings over coffee.

It’s affordable.

I don’t have to have 10 clients to cover the costs. Low overhead means I can help smaller companies.

All that is important to me. I always joke that they will need to kick me out of Emergency Arts. I got roots now, though, and I like that. I hope to have an office there as long as I have a business. Maybe I will occupy 2 spaces one day.
